My Animal ID # is #A1030436. I am a female black am #pitbull ter. The shelter thinks I am about 2 YEARS 54lbs. A volunteer writes: Say hello to Mikayla the mush! This ebony beauty may seem a bit shy in her kennel but as soon as we're outside she clings to me for dear life, eagerly whining for more snuggles, more kisses and more love. She seems confused about how to feel over her new found freedom, overjoyed and yet very anxious at the same time and the pitiful whining continues even after we sit down together. If I hug her tight and keep up my petting she soon quiets and once we get going with a game of fetch all worries are forgotten in the mad rush to grab the ball. When it comes to other dogs Mikayla's manners are shy yet impeccable and she meets them with soft, easy friendship whether on leash or off, always the perfect little lady. She's a great walker who knows how to sit on command and take treats gently from my hand but it's so hard to stay still for pictures when all she wants is to hug hug hug the photographer! With beauty, brains and the best cuddle technique ever, Mikayla is a doggie dream come true. Having passed her behavior assessment with flying colors, she's more than ready to get her snuggle on with a new forever family and if you're very lucky it could be yours!
