Day 4 Journey inward- took time today to notice. Notice the surroundings, notice the people, notice how each passing moment felt. I'll never forget this picture or how much it brought me into the moment- it was surreal. Hurricane Sandy hitting NY was surreal. These homes, the families affected- even months after, walking down the street completely in the moment, present, noticing and feeling. Taking it all in. Not wanting to forget the devastation that surrounded me so that I can always know how blessed I am. This remains true today, but I find that it's moments like this picture that remind me what true presence feels like and how to journey back to that. #journeyinward #hurricanesandy #newyork #presence #blessed #notice by amylgreen
