A volunteer writes "Letting me know she needed to go out, Pebles confirmed that she's housetrained as her former owner advised. Surrendered with her housemate Bam Bam (A1029414) we're told that she knows 'sit' and 'stay', likes to be brushed, is afraid of baths, loves to play tug, and is afraid of children. Pebles is shy and a total mush, and I suspect that young children may move too quickly and abruptly for her. We walked to the park with another volunteer and her male dog and Pebles was great. Affectionate, gentle and sweet, Pebles follows new two legged friends around the pen with a wagging tail. She takes treats gently and when discovering they weren't to her liking, spit them out equally gently. Such a lady! She joined us with a mani/pedi and blue polish on all fours; a lady never goes without polish smile emoticon Petite, gentle and low key, it sounds like Pebles may not have had much socialization in her former home, so will need a quiet home in which her space will be respected. A patient and loving person or family needs to help her meet and feel comfortable in the world. She bonds quickly, and her soft gentle personality is a delight.
