Sandy hits Manhattan: Sarah went to see Fospice gal Betty White today, who happily snoozed through most of the visit. This 16 year old Shepherd/Beagle mix was saved from the shelter by @poshpetsrescue. Since Betty had nowhere to live, she resided at the vet clinic for several months, until #FosterDogsNYC jumped in and found her an amazing "forever foster" mom - Madhumita. Betty now lives in the heart of the action (Times Square, that is) but would rather spend her time in her quiet and peaceful apartment. It has been truly special and heartwarming to help this senior dog find a place to be safe and comfortable for her final months. While this experience might be tough at times, Madhumita has been kind and devoted, even prior to meeting Betty!
